This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use the Sonogen Mobile Application (“Mobile App”), the Sonogen Web Portal (“Web Portal”), and the Sonogen BGS Device (“Device”) (collectively, the “Services”).   • Caregiver Information: Information about individuals you invite to access your data via the Web Portal, including name and email address.

1.2 Health Information

  • Treatment Data: Data related to your injury, and your use of the Device, such as treatment schedules, durations, and outcomes.
  • Device Usage Data: Information about when and how you interact with the Device and Mobile App.

1.3 Technical Information

  • Device Information: Mobile device model and firmware version.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use the Mobile App and Web Portal, including features accessed and time spent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  1. Provide, improve, and personalize the Services.
  2. Monitor and analyze Device and treatment performance.
  3. Facilitate your communication with Caregivers.
  4. Comply with legal, regulatory, or quality requirements.
  5. Notify you of updates or changes to the Services.

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

3.1 With Caregivers

When you invite Caregivers to monitor your treatment progress, they gain access to relevant health and treatment data through the Web Portal.

3.2 With Providers

If you approve it, we will disclose information about your Device usage and treatment progress to your physician’s medical team, for potential inclusion in your electronic health record.

3.3 With Payors

If your device is reimbursed by a third-party payor, such as an insurance company, we will provide information about your Device usage and treatment progress.

3.4 With Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist with app functionality, data storage, analytics, and technical support.

3.5 Legal and Regulatory Compliance

We may disclose information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.

3.6 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your information:

We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. International Data Transfers

If you are accessing the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and stored in countries with different privacy laws. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Mobile Communications

Sonogen will never share mobile telephone numbers with any third party. A single SMS message will be sent to you at the start of your treatment, to facilitate downloading and configuring the Sonogen Mobile App. Applicable message and data rates may apply.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
